Ultra-Shear Table Edge Ogee Router Bits - Carbide Tipped - 2 Flute
Typical ogee bits just stack a bead on top of a cove…one curve starting exactly where the first ends. Our Table Edge Ogee Bits create a more interesting look with an extension before the second curve begins. On tables and shelves this creates a shadow detail and lightens the appearance. On routed bowls you can create a foot that elevates the bowl above the table, making it look more finished. And the bits can be used to create all types of molding for picture frames, cabinetry and trim work. "Versatile" is a serious understatement…these bits are workhorses in your shop that will elevate all your designs. We make the Table Edge Ogee Bits in 3 sizes with profile widths of 1/2", 3/4" and 1"…available individually or as a set.
The 1/2" wide bit is perfect for smaller objects and delicate moldings, like the foot on this square routed bowl.
The mid-sized 3/4" bit works nicely on shelf edges and molding work, like the profile of this oval picture frame.
The 1" big dog comes into play on larger table tops and big routed bowls.
Ultra-Shear uses state-of-the-art CNC grinding equipment, the highest quality carbide, ultra-fine grinding wheels and skilled Northeast Ohio machinists to produce American-made router bits at extremely competitive prices. The days of paying extra for middleman markups are over. Buy direct from the manufacturer and pocket the savings. We’re confident you won’t find American-made Table Edge Ogee Bits of the same design for less.
