Ultra-Shear Short Up-Cut Compression Router Bits are engineered with a specialized Short Up-Cut Design that allows the compression cutting action to begin at shallower cutting depths than traditional compression bits. By shortening the up-cut portion of the tool, the opposing cutting directions engage sooner, helping produce clean top and bottom edges without requiring deep passes.

This unique geometry makes the bits especially effective for CNC operations involving shallow dados, grooves, mortises, pockets, and profile cuts where standard compression bits may not fully engage. The compression design helps reduce tear-out on both faces of plywood, melamine, MDF, hardwoods, and other sheet materials while maintaining efficient chip evacuation throughout the cut.
