Ultra-Shear Solid Carbide CNC Deep Reach bits are designed for deep pocket cuts on desktop CNC machines and larger CNC routers. 

2" cut-length bits are often 4" overall, which can lead to deflection and chatter. These Deep Reach Spirals use a 3" overall length, with a 1" collet zone for ER-11 collets and larger collets, a 1" cutting zone, and a 1" relieved section between the cutting and collet zones to clear sidewalls while maintaining rigidity.

The line includes two 1/4" shank, 1/4" diameter options: a 2-flute square end up-cut bit and a 3-flute ball nose bit. Both have 1" cutting length, 2" reach, and 3" overall length. A 2-piece set is also available and includes both individual bits.

These CNC Router bits cut 2" deep pocket cuts in bowls, trays, and designs that need a 1/4" diameter cutter for tight corners.
