Ultra-Shear Slow Spiral Router Bits are 3-flute, solid carbide router bits with 1/2" shanks and 1/2" cutting diameters. The slow spiral (low helix) design is for highly figured hardwoods, exotics, phenolics, and other dense materials. 

Available cutting lengths of 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2", all with 3-1/2" overall length. 

Up-Cut or Down-Cut? Up-Cut bits pull the chips out of the kerf more effectively. They’re a great choice for dadoes, slotting and full-edge cutting in solid wood. Down-Cut bits slice down into the material so surface fibers don’t get lifted. This is particularly important on cabinet grade plywood and a great choice for rabbeting. A Down-Cut bit will give you a super clean edge in even the thinnest surface veneers.
