These bits deliver great surface finish on both the sides and bottom of your cut. They're the ideal choice for dadoes, grooves and rabbets as well as machining outside perimeters on CNC systems. 

For mortise and tenon work, particularly through-mortise joints, long cut length is essential. That’s when you'll need the 1-1/2" and 2" cut length 1/2" diameter. In addition to generous cut length, these bits are held to very strict tolerance for dimensional accuracy…in other words they’re perfect for CNC machines and horizontal routers like the Multi-Router and PantoRouter.

Up-Cut or Down-Cut? Up-Cut bits pull the chips out of the kerf more effectively. They’re a great choice for dadoes, slotting and full-edge cutting in solid wood. Down-Cut bits slice down into the material so surface fibers don’t get lifted. This is particularly important on cabinet grade plywood and a great choice for rabbeting. A Down-Cut bit will give you a super clean edge in even the thinnest surface veneers.
