When working to a template, the inside edge of your round over will be 1/8" inside your template. Make the first cut 1/8" deep and follow the template. Now, when you switch to any of the shallow pattern bowl bits equipped with the 3/4" bearing, the bearing will align the bowl wall with edge of the round over. Keep both bearings against your pattern and you can't miss. 

It's just as simple when using a CNC or the Shaper Origin. Just offset the 1/8" round over and place the 1/2" diameter of the bowl bits to match. The bearings that make the bits work with a template come off in just seconds when you're using them in a CNC. 

The Micro Round Over and the Compact Bowl Bits use Ultra-Shear's "Carbide Head" design, where a piece of solid carbide is brazed to a solid steel shank. This marries the superior cutting geometry and extended life of solid carbide with the toughness of a steel shank.
