This Teak live edge slab offers a distinctive piece of wood for furniture, tabletop, and custom woodworking projects. Teak, Tectona grandis, is known for its golden to medium-brown heartwood, natural oils, dimensional stability, and resistance to decay. Its color typically darkens with age, adding visual depth over time.
These one-of-a-kind slabs are kiln-dried and thickness planed before sale. Width and length measurements are taken from the center of the board, and the listed thickness is subject to a +/-1/8 in. tolerance. Product photos are taken after the slabs are wiped with water to help show the grain pattern.
Because wood is a natural material, individual slabs may include checks or other inconsistencies. These natural characteristics are not considered defects. Each Teak live edge slab offers a unique combination of color, grain, natural edges, and individual character for your next woodworking project.
