The Woodpeckers Starting Pin is offered as a standalone accessory for the QuickLift and QuickLift HDS router lift system. Woodpekers QuickLift provides three locations for the Starting Pin, allowing you to ease into cuts on contoured workpieces. This makes the starting pin a useful replacement part or additional accessory for shops using a compatible QuickLift router lift for freehand-style routing tasks.
The starting pin works with the threaded starting pin locations built into the QuickLift and QuickLift HDS lift plate. Those same threaded holes can also be used to mount the Woodpeckers Freehand Guard, which is sold separately.
