Precision Woodworking T-Squares

Laser-Accurate Scales, Parallel Scribing Guides and Solid Perpendicular Support

Each Woodpeckers T-Square consists of a laser engraved aluminum blade matched to a precision machined beam. The two critical components are secured together with either 4 or 6 stainless steel screws (depending on which blade length you choose).  A slight offset between the holes in the blade and the threads in the beam put the two under constant tension. This design delivers an angular precision of ±.02 degrees (.004” per foot). It delivers top notch performance yet allows the blade to be replaced should it be damaged.

Two support lips machined into the beam prevent tipping and rolling. The blade has scribing guides every sixteenth-inch.  Place the tip of a mechanical pencil in the hole, slide it along your work piece and lay down lines exactly parallel to the edge of your stock. 

The edges of the blade are beveled 30°, putting the scale markings right down next to your stock, eliminating parallax error. The scales are laser-engraved to a tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error. The white engraving on our famous “Woodpeckers Red” anodized finish delivers a very readable contrast, even for older eyes or poor lighting conditions. Additional 1/4" holes are machined on 1" centers for marking shelf pin locations. Each T-Square is delivered with a wall-mountable Rack-It™ to keep your Precision T-square right in plain sight and always ready for the next project.  

We offer four versions of our T-square:  12", 24", 600mm and 32". The 12" size is ideal for work with solid lumber and smaller cabinet parts. The 24", 600mm and 32" are better suited for work with sheet goods, larger cabinet parts, entertainment centers and bookcases.

Like all Woodpeckers products, these T-squares are proudly machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, OH facility, just south of Cleveland.
