Multi-Router Motor System with Remote Speed Control and Integrated Dust Collection

Woodpeckers originally developed the 2-1/4 HP SpinRite to go with our premium router tables. Once our Multi-Router team got their hands on one, they immediately wanted it incorporated into the Multi-Router. Why? Well first on the list is the remote control box. The switches and speed dial are machine-sized, not hand-tool sized. And there's a big, easy to read tachometer that shows you exactly the speed of your spindle. All that is in a beefy enclosure that mounts on the leg of the machine.

Also, the motor is designed from the ground up to be mounted in a machine, not in a hand-held base. Instead of the proprietary collets found on most routers, we use ER-20 collets.1/4", 1/2" and 8mm are included with the router, but ER-20 collets are a standard in commercial CNCs, so they're readily available in every inch and metric size from 1/8" to 1/2", giving you access to a world of specialty bits.

To attach that nifty router to the machine the engineers came up with a cam-lever clamp that adjusts with the flip of a lever and holds the router motor solidly. 
Then, they molded a dust shroud that picks up the chips right where they're made, moves them to the dust extractor efficiently and doesn't block any of the router controls or adjustments.

It's standard equipment for the Multi-Router now, but it fits any Multi-Router ever made. It's the best thing you can do to get more out of your machine.
