Precisely Machined Camber Applies up to 225 lbs. of Clamping Pressure

Woodpeckers Clamping Cauls feature a precise camber engineered to provide 225 lbs. of pressure uniformly when the camber is straightened between two clamps at the ends. No matter how carefully you prepare your stock for a panel glue-up, there's bound to be a little mismatch between the board faces. A few pairs of Clamping Cauls across the faces will save you hours of hand planing, keep your panel flat and keep it at the desired dimension. 

When your project reaches that point when you discover you don't have enough clamps, Woodpeckers Clamping Cauls can save the day again. A pair of Clamping Cauls and two bar clamps can replace 4 to 8 bar clamps. Just run the Cauls along the outside of your assembly with clamps at each end. The camber takes the place of all the clamps you would normally put in the middle of the panel. 

Woodpeckers Clamping Cauls are machined from 3/4"-thick phenolic – the same indestructible material we use for our premium router tables. They won't warp, twist or crack due to age, use or weather fluctuations. Stocking your shop with Woodpeckers Clamping Cauls multiplies the capacity of the clamps you already own and eliminates the stress usually associated with a complicated glue-up. They're sold in pairs in 24", 36", and 48" lengths, or a complete set, which includes a pair of all three sizes.
