Chechen Board Foot Project Lumber Packs
This Chechen project lumber pack provides 10 board feet of selected boards for woodworking projects. Each board measures 48 inches long, 4 to 6 inches wide, and is surfaced to 15/16 inch.
Chechen (Metopium brownei), also known as Caribbean Rosewood, is not a true rosewood but shares many of the same characteristics. Its natural color can include greens, reds, gold and orange, and individual pieces may show dramatic figure and character.
The species is moderately hard, works easily and finishes well. Wood is a natural material, so color and dimensions may vary slightly. Due to wood movement, shrinkage and expansion, each piece should be measured before use; dimensions are within +/-1/8 inch of the listed size. Due to international shipping restrictions, this lumber pack ships within the U.S. only.
