Birds Eye Maple is a figured form of hard maple recognized for the small, eye-like patterns that appear throughout the grain. This 10 board foot project lumber pack provides a convenient quantity of material for woodworking projects where the figure can become part of the finished design. The light color and distinctive pattern make Birds Eye Maple well suited to furniture components, cabinet parts, boxes, drawer fronts, decorative panels, and other projects that highlight natural grain. Because the bird's-eye figure occurs naturally, pattern density and appearance can vary from board to board, giving each pack its own visual character. The 10 board foot format makes it easier to plan projects around a defined amount of lumber while still allowing flexibility in how individual boards are selected, cut, and arranged.
