The Ultra-Shear 7-Pc Rabbet Bit Collar Set is for the Ultra-Shear Carbide Insert Rabbeting Bits. The collar set fits both 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch shank versions. The collars provide bearing-guided rabbet depths beyond the standard 1/2 inch depth controlled by the bit's ball bearings.
The collar set gives seven additional depth settings in 1/16 inch increments, from 7/16 inch down to 1/16 inch. Each collar is 9/16 inch tall, matching the added reference height for maintaining bearing contact while setting rabbet depth.
