Setting up machines to cut rabbets has never been easier. The generous 4" length of the Rabbet Gauges eliminates the guessing game we all go through when trying to locate top-dead-center on a dado blade. And working over the top of dado blades and router bits is more positive than working beside a gauge block or rule.
We mill the Rabbet Gauges from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum on state-of-the-art CNC milling centers. Dimensional accuracy is held to strict tolerance. After milling, the gauges are anodized in our signature "Woodpeckers Red" finish to reduce friction and protect the surface.
