Description
These Koa billets provide distinctive Hawaiian hardwood stock for woodworking projects where natural variation is part of the appeal. Koa can vary widely in color, grain pattern and figure, with tones that tend toward medium golden or reddish brown. No two billets will be the same.
Each billet is B-grade material sourced from a supplier that serves musical instrument makers. The billets measure a minimum of 2 in. thick, 6 in. wide and 22 in. long. Bark inclusions are expected in this grade and are not considered defects, but the material is not suitable for musical instruments.
Because wood is a natural product, dimensions may vary with movement, shrinkage and expansion. Listed dimensions are within +/-1/8 in., so each piece should be measured before use. Due to international shipping restrictions, Koa billets ship within the U.S. only.
