Granadillo Live Edge Slab - 36" x 17" x 1.25" - GD-22-A

Granadillo (Platymiscium spp.) is often called “the wood that sings” because of its use in musical instruments. The slab is kiln-dried and thickness planed, giving you a prepared piece of Granadillo for your next woodworking project. Granadillo heartwood can range from bright red to dark purplish brown, and the species is described as very dense with the ability to take a high natural polish. 

These one-of-a-kind slabs are kiln-dried and thickness planed before sale. Width and length measurements are taken from the center of the board, and the listed thickness is subject to a +/-1/8 in. tolerance. Product photos are taken after the slabs are wiped with water to help show the grain pattern.

Because wood is a natural material, individual slabs may include checks or other inconsistencies. These natural characteristics are not considered defects. Each Granadillo live edge slab offers a unique combination of color, grain, natural edges, and individual character for your next woodworking project.
